Your Home - Staying Put

If you have lived with a foster carer, they may offer for you to ‘stay put’ and keep living with them from 18-21, or longer if you are in full-time education. This is where you stay with your foster carer. Not all foster carers offer this. This needs to be discussed with your social worker, foster carer, independent reviewing officer, and care team prior to you turning 18 and be agreed within your child in care reviews.
